We pride ourselves in being competitive in rates so that you can take home more of your hard-earned money. Unlike other sites that charge 13%+ to upwards of 40% in commissions, ChurchesPayChurches has a flat rate of just 7% per transaction for our commission. Payment processing fees extra and still apply. No additional seller, account, or hidden fees. No monthly charges. You only pay the fee when a transaction is processed, and if you choose to pay for additional marketing / advertising.

Combining those two rates / fees (7% Our Fee and 2.9% + $0.30 for Stripe payment processing) is a total of just 9.9% + $0.30 per transaction! That's cheaper than any major online marketplace for physical or digital products and services.


GET STARTED - SELLING

  1. Click the button below to login! This will allow you to either login within an existing account or create a new account.
  2. Toggle the option on to 'Become A Seller'.
  3. Read, review, and accept the Seller Terms and Conditions. 
  4. Click 'Save'. 
  5. Once saved, the page will reload and your "Marketplace Seller Account" info will become available!

GETTING PAID

You get paid per transaction as soon as it processes and posts. We deduct our fee automatically and the rest is found within your Stripe account. Stripe then takes their fees and your remaining balance is seen instantly within your Stripe account. You do not have to wait on weekly or monthly cycles or reimbursements from our marketplace. Within Stripe you can setup custom payout schedules to ensure you get paid when and how you want!

Here's an example just to help visualize what happens. Once a successful charge has been placed, in our example we'll say a $10 total order.

  1. Order placed for $10 using a debit or credit card.
  2. We deduct our 7% fee based off the total order amount. 
  3. Stripe deducts their transaction fees based off the total order amount. As of Dec. 2023, this is 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for cards and 0.8% for ACH Debit (Bank Accounts). 
  4. The total fees in this example would be: $0.29 Stripe + $0.30 Stripe + $0.70 ChurchesPayChurches fee = $1.29
  5. Within Stripe you would see an available balance of $8.71 for this transaction and that would be added to the payout schedule you select in your Stripe account.
  6. Simple. Easy. Affordable.

Can I build out my store in advance adding products etc but not have Stripe setup yet or live? 

Your product's status can be set to 'enabled' or 'disabled' to allow them to display or not in the marketplace. If enabled, they'll display. If disabled, they will not. This is a setting per product so be conscience of that when using this idea. Folks can add your products to their carts for checkout, however, if your Stripe isn't linked up or set to 'live', then they will not be able to purchase those products at final checkout and will receive an error message that they must remove the associated products.


Can I add, adjust, remove my products at anytime? Is this a one time setup and can't add more products later?

Yes, you can add and maintain your products anytime, anywhere, from any device as long as you have an internet connection! Get that new idea at 2am and have it ready to sell at 3am in the middle of the night in your RV in the mountains? Sweet, get it online in minutes! No it is not a one time setup, and by the way, no setup fees whatsoever.


How long does it take for Stripe to setup my account?

If you do not have an existing Stripe merchant (seller) account, the process can be done in about 5 - 10 mins. However, actual times may vary based on factors such as your speed, access to information, etc. PayPal may also need to verify your information, bank information, business information, etc. so going 'live' with Stripe could be as short as 10 mins or so up to a few days to be able to accept transactions.


Does Stripe instantly transfer funds to my bank when I get an order?

This depends on your settings within Stripe. By default Stripe will simply store the funds you've earned in your Stripe account. You then can choose how and when to receive those funds. Some of their settings allow you to get your money asap but do come with associated fees.


If there are financial concerns such as transaction issues, customer issues, refund requests, banking concerns, what do I do as a seller?

Anything financial related you'll want to use Stripe as your go to spot. This will allow you to process any sort of transactional information hunting, issue refunds if needed, etc. Stripe is everything 'money' when it comes to ChurchesPayChurches. ChurchesPayChurches does not support your customers, but we can step in and help provide information, suggestions, or guidance when and if needed.


Do you store my banking or the customer's banking / financial information?

Nope. Nada. No way! This is one of the cool features, and security iron-cladness, of ChurchesPayChurches. With passing the order data over to Stripe, all financial data is entered with Stripe at Stripe. No data is sent back to us either other than primary order data that does not including personal financial data like credit card information.
